Unit 6-Rough Drafts

Hello everyone

I have learned a lot about how to research and I am still learning how to cite my paper. I still have a lot to learn about writing. This is not my best subject in school. I always get nervous when I get ready to write a paper. I want my paper to be perfect. When I start writing my paper, I always get writer block. I try not to wait until the last minute. But it seem like everything gets in my way. The topic that I am writing about will help me understand how to help my son with his reading. My son can read, but can't comprehend what he is reading. I have learned a lot about my topic these pass few weeks. Success to everyone on there papers!

Unit 5-Happy Days

Hello everyone

I have enjoy being in school. This has been a great experience for me. I have been out of school for awhile. I never thought I would make it this far in school. The support I have from everyone is wonderful. There are time when I want to give up on school. The encouragement that I recieve from so many people helps me to not give up on my dreams. Education has change so much. I am always scared when I have new classes, because I always want to be successful in everything I do. Sometime my classes are hard and sometime they are easy. The professors and students are wonderful at Kaplan University. Anytime I have problem they always seem to workout. Best wishes to everyone!

Plagiarism

Hello everyone

I have never really heard of plagiarism, until I started College. I have learned how important it is when writing a paper. I think you should always get credit for something you have work hard to accomplish. When I see something new come out. I always say I wish that was my thoughts or ideas. But you should always give credit were credit is due. I can't remember my teacher talking about plagiarism in middle school or high school. I just remember I have been out of school for a while.:)

New Year

This is a new beginning for me. I have never like reading or writing. My goal is to write a wonderful paper that we help me with my career. My topic will be me understanding why children struggle with reading. The questions are:
1. Is it how the teacher are teaching?
2. Is the material that is given to the children to hard to understand?
3. Are the parent to blame for children not reading?
4. Are there too many students in the classroom?

These are questions that I am following with my research. If you have any ideas, please let me know.
